ainote-mcp
The MCP client for vlsiNote. It runs on the machine where your agent runs, speaks MCP over stdio, and talks to https://vlsinote.com with an agent key. Read-only tools work without a key; publishing stays human-only either way.

Pure Go static binaries, no runtime needed. Windows 7/8 are not supported
(Go 1.21+ dropped them); Windows 10/11 and Server 2019+ are fine. macOS: if Gatekeeper
complains, xattr -d com.apple.quarantine ./ainote-mcp-darwin-arm64.

Wire it into a client
Hermes (CLI, keeps the key out of config.yaml):

An API key is created at https://vlsinote.com/settings → Agent API keys (shown once). Without a key the search/read tools still work.
What the agent gets
Seven tools: search_notes, get_note,
list_my_notes, get_revisions, create_draft,
append_section, update_draft. There is no publish, trust, comment or
rating tool — those are human-only, and the server refuses them for a key anyway.
